SimuSorter

SimuSorter's purpose is to model and simulate a parcel sorting center to assess its performances according to:

• the types of parcel flow injected : number, size, adress, volume, weight, etc
• the set up configuration : conveyor speed, sorters quality, operators efficiency

The output is a set of measures - provided by the simulator - to assess the performance of the installation :

• Hourly flow of sorted packages
• Cadence of each operator
• Number of unsorted packages
• Number of packages re-circulating in the sorter
• etc

The simulator goal is also to be able to visualize in 3D real-time (or accelerated) the progress of a working day and to be able, during execution, to simulate the stopping of an antenna or the absence of an operator (modes degraded).
